The Final Throne is a new Threat with a more "political" storyline than previous adventures, in which you will also find a new use for the laminated world map that comes with your Collector's Edition. In this Threat, you will interact with several iconic groups and individuals, never knowing who you can trust – and yet, it will be your wise alliances that will determine the fate of the Collapsing Lands! This expansion will send you in search of the pieces of the famous Alembic of Valengarde, which split into 3 upon Ninidazir’s death and have been wandering the country ever since. Whether you search out each piece or come across them by happy accident, you will need to 'transport' them to the same Terrain card. Once they are grouped together, you will be able to open this mysterious little box that contains the - permanently - reconstructed Alembic of Valengarde. Of course, this will not be an easy task, because saving the game or returning to the Citadel before completing this task will cause the mischievous pieces of Alembic to wander off, forcing you to begin your search anew. But you can take our word for it, it's well worth the trouble! Contents: 30 cards, 4 minis.

The "Knowledge is Power" expansion contains 40 cards for those who like to read and experience new things.

Commonly called "Unveilers", these magic-seeking ladybugs are as big as a fist but reputedly harmless, and are well-known among arcanists, treasure seekers, and other intrepid adventurers. The Unveilers are attracted to magical emanations like flies to a rotting carcass. Spotting a cloud of these bugs is generally a good omen, but not everything that is imbued with magic is safe to dig up... During your journey, you will certainly (Exploration card / random event) come across these ladybugs. When you do, you will put one of their miniatures into play on the Terrain card that you put in play after encountering this event. The ladybugs will remain there until you have either interacted with them (we won't tell you more, you'll have to find out for yourself) OR until you have dug to see what magical thing attracted them to the area. Then you will remove the mini and find out if you chose well… or poorly. Will it be a powerful artifact? An arcane skeleton? A cursed object? A magical creature to fight or coax? All you have to do is dig to find out!

The Collapsing Lands are aptly named. Every step you take could see the ground open up like a gaping maw, eager to swallow you whole. But what if there were a hidden world below, filled with secrets and treasures just waiting to be discovered? “On the Edge of Peril” is a Kickstarter exclusive expansion offered in the Collector's Edition pledge. It expands your adventures with new Exploration cards that will hinder your progress until you fight off the danger. During your adventure, you may be instructed (no spoilers ?) to slip the “Peril” divider behind the 110 card. Whenever you take a Terrain card stored after that divider (card nr. 111 and up), you must replace 1 Exploration card attached to that terrain with one showing the “Peril” (skull) icon. Luckily, you possess a Groundquaker, a powerful artifact stolen from the Necrodruids, which will help you push the divider further back and with it the edge of peril!
