Coop tile exploration game by Tim Fowers (Fugitive) where players try to find all safes on 2 or 3 floors. More Streamlined than its predecessor Burgle Bros 1. Each player has 4 action each turn which can be used multiple times. Pros: + Clean artwork (cartoony) + Theme: Heist / Ocean Eleven (appeals to many people) + Components: wooden meeples and door markers. Very clever, compact, and thematic game (trayz) box which is the game's casino building + Adjustable difficulty and playing time + Compared to Burgle Bros 1 simplified movement system of the guards (NPCs) with a fixed movement of three spaces who are slowed down by closed doors + Managing and guessing guards movement + Poker chips that provide random boosts + Characters and tools with different abilities (unlockable). Tools can now be used at any time to help other players which improves cooperation + Peek or move room tiles (push your luck) + Safe cracking (push your luck vs spend more time) + Elegant code cracking system for the safe which forces player to explore more tiles even if they found the safe tile + Modular board setup with random poker chips and different Finales each game (variety, replayability). Players can start at different locations now (different to Burgle Bros 1) + Scales well with all player counts Neutrales: # Language dependent: some text on the room tiles # Variability: not all cards are used each game, modular set-up # Luck of the draw: especially the patrol cards (which sometimes can be manipulated or looked up), poker chips, room tiles # Luck of the roll for opening doors # Events triggered when a player moves into a pool or lounge tile. Different to Burgle Bros 1 which uses a cooler event system which is triggered if a player uses only 1 or 2 actions and end their turn. Events could be good or bad. (push your luck) Cons: - Set-up takes a bit longer - Unusual game box dimension (does not fit with other game boxes) What is new compared to first edition? Gear - Each players now has their own unique kit of tools that can be used during ANY player's turn. You're no longer forced to wait until your turn before you can jump in and save the day, adding a whole new level of coordinated plays. New Rooms - The Pool, Blackjack table, Buffet, Dance Floor - casino rooms are a new mix of crazy and challenging effects that will keep you on your toes. Hidden Perks & Pitfalls - Chips are placed on rooms throughout the casino for additional one-time effects - some of them reward bold moves, and others punish them! Doors - In addition to walls, locked doors block your path on the casino floor. The team can crack doors easy - the real question is, should you leave them open? Hunt Mode - No more moving slowly and cautiously during the heist. Take too long and the bouncers will start hunting you. Finales - Cracking the safe is only step one. Now each games concludes with a big twist ending. What will the team have to do to make it out with a grand piano slowing you down, or with the swat team on your tail?
