Simple - but not in a bad way. Don't get me wrong, I love weighty games. It's refreshing, though, to play a game where I know what I need to do without having to refer to a massive rulebook every 2 seconds. Horrified looks great and is super easy to teach to new players and even non-gamers. Plus, with the variety of heroes and monsters included, it offers a good amount replayability.
