The Squad 1 Expansion introduces 6 new Legends into the roster of Apex Legends: The Board Game. The Toxic Trapper Caustic uses poison traps and gas grenades, creating hazard zones on the battlefield and weakening enemy Legends before closing in for the kill. The Surveillance Expert Crypto utilizes his surveillance drone to scout and loot the area, as well as drain the shields of his enemies with EMP attacks. The Holographic Trickster Mirage uses Hologram decoys to confuse his opponents, shield himself from harm, and conceal his location. The High-speed Daredevil Octane outsmarts other Legends with spectacular stunts and pure speed. The Synthetic Nightmare Revenant uses his Silence Device to prevent his foes from using their abilities, while his Death Totem serves his squadmates in cheating death. The Static Defender Wattson helps out allied Legends by recharging their shields and creating fortified safe zones on the battlefield. —description from the publisher

Push the conflict into new ground! The Board 1 Expansion adds new Map tiles for use in Apex Legends: The Board Game, based on the industrial themes of Kings Canyon and offering new buildings and terrain features, including fences, which function as impassable obstacles. The new board can be attached to the default one using a set of connector tiles, which enlarges the potential battlefield. The expansion also grants access to the Nessie Special Feature, introducing the loveable character of Nessie into Apex Legends™: The Board Game as an interactive component, and spicing up each session through the use of Nessie Feat cards, which grant the players access to powerful and subversive gameplay effects, encouraging them to diverge from their usual strategies.
