1st impression: shittier but prettier Battle Line/Schotten Totten. That's not a big knock though, because Battle Line/Schotten Totten is a Mount Olympus game. Hanamikoji is a short, good, light game that just happens to stand deeply in the shadow of an all time great. Unless I discover I'm wrong in the next few plays, I won't likely play it much after. My first reaction to the suggestion will always be "Why don't we just play Battle Line instead?"
